If are willing to spend Purchase Avira or Kasperksy Internet Security or ESET Smart Security 4.
Download it from a different machine.
In the mean time download this tool since you are not sure about the virus. Stinger Tool. http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/default.aspx
Run this Tool on Safe mode – Press F8 when you restarting PC.
It should detect a whole load of virues.
Now Install the Anti Virus you have bought and Do a full Scan.
Let me know how it goes, email me if you need additional information.

Just reinstall windows. Before that back up your data. Download a free antivirus like Avast or Avira but not AVG after installing your windows. Scan then.

so im assuming you can actually get on your computer, if you can do a system recovery, go to control panel>system and maintainance>then restore it back to a point you know it was working right. i would also then restart the computer and get into advanced start up options by fressing F8 and start in debugging mode. if that dosnt work your last option would be to put your OS cd in and go trom there, you shouldn lose any data unless you choose to wipe the whole thing! gimme an update

Use another PC, like your friend’s or something. Using the borrowed PC, download Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool and save it in a removable device. Install it then on your PC.
Or, if you like, using still your borrowed PC, download whatever crap you can using it.
Or, use online scanners to scan your PC.
If none work, reinstall the OS.

Could I really be the first to give you a good answer instead of the rubbish you’ve gotten?
Since it’s obvious you can’t do much on your PC, I would suggest you find someone else with access to the internet, get a flash drive and go to download.com
On download.com load up on some programs like:
Avast
Malwarebytes Antimalware
Spybot search and destroy
HiJackthis
Spyware blaster
To name a few….
Just save the EXE’s that you download into your flash drive.
Then take the flash drive back to your PC, if you can get it to boot up and stay up long enough, install those programs to your PC and start running them.
Also, once done, run Avast, and make a boot time scan. Restart your PC and it will run the virus scan before your PC boots all the way up. It will just be some text and say it’s scanning so don’t be alarmed. That should help you enough to get your PC cleaned, and if I were you, I’d go ahead and back up all important things and just reformat (I religiously reformat every 4 months, as it is).

since you don’t have much knowledge even to get rid of that virus, i better recommend you to get a computer technician to do it for you rather than installing a lot of protections on the PC as advised by another user. a computer doesn’t need a lot of softwares for protection, it only needs to much careful in using.
*i’m using only one PC protection and been using this for years but never encountered such kind of problem.

It certainly sounds like you have been infected with some kind of malware. Whenever you suspect you have an infection, there are several things you must do. Unfortunately, if you find one infection, it is highly likely you have another one. A virus, trojan or worm are all different types of infections/malware and the good news is there are some great FREE programs that can help you.
First, clean up (delete) your cookies, temp files and temporary internet files. I prefer to use Ccleaner to do this, rather than the built-in DISK CLEANUP, as I feel it does a much more thorough job – for example, it will clean out the index files on your next reboot.
If you want to use Disk Cleanup, you can find it if you:
– Double-Click on My Computer to open it up
– RIGHT-click on your C: drive
– Choose PROPERTIES and then click on the DISK CLEANUP button
– When done, reboot your computer.
Delete these files daily or run Ccleaner every day right before you shut your computer down.
2 – You must have a good anti-virus program.
-AVG Free
-Avast
-Avira
are three excellent anti-virus programs. You can’t go wrong in choosing any one of these.
3 -Since NONE of the anti- spyware or anti- adware programs are 100 percent accurate in finding and removing spyware, you need at least two programs which you will run one after the other, not at the same time.
There are some excellent free ones:
– Spybot, Search and Destroy
– Ad-Aware
– Spyware Blaster
– Superantispyware
– Malwarebytes
You will need to download, install, update (and IMMUNIZE in Spybot) and run them, one at a time. Be careful with the NAME of these programs – there are “look-alikes” with very similar names, that are in fact spyware themselves! Reboot after you install each one!
After this current infection is cleared up, be sure to run both of the above programs at least once a week if you are on the internet frequently and/or like to download music or files.
NOTE: Some infections prevent your from downloading the above programs. You may have to use a clean computer to download the programs and copy them to a thumb drive or CD. Then transfer the install files to the infected computer and run.
–Occasionally you will not be able to run these programs without being in SAFE MODE. To get there, reboot your computer and tap the F8 key, repeatedly until a menu comes up. You want to choose SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING.
4 -You should also have a good firewall to help protect your computer. Zone Alarm makes a totally free version (watch you don’t download the 30-day free trial of the paid version). You can download this from the manufacturer at zonelabs dot com
5 – If the above programs are unable to completely get rid of your problem, you will need to turn off SYSTEM RESTORE, reboot your computer and scan again with the anti-virus program and the anti-malware programs and reboot again. Once you are sure the infection has been removed, go back and turn on SYSTEM RESTORE.
HTH : )
Good luck!
PS – Most of the above programs can be found at http://www.download.com

First check all of your plug ends and connections. Can you get to google? If you can, type in your search bar google free pack. See if you can download what is there. They are free. Spydoctor will block their blocks, if you have a virus, like the sasser worm. I downloaded spydoctor first. It is safe to download there. The lastest Norton might be good. Google is giving it.
And if you can, and this does not remove what ever you have, symantec has a removal tool. This worm comes from a port. A person uses numbers by random and outs it in. Fire walls keep hackers out.
You need a good firewall.

If you have a very good friend that will let you use their computer for about 15 minutes… you can go to the Avira web-site from their machine and download and burn the Avira “Rescue Disk’. You can then place the CD into your computers CD/DVD drive and reboot. It should reboot right onto the disk before Windows loads (before the virus becomes active) and it will update itself and do a boot-time scan.
This should fix up right up…
Look here:
http://www.free-av.com/en/products/12/avira_antivir_rescue_system.html
GOOD LUCK !!!
P.S. Sounds like you may have picked up a variation of the “Conficker” virus or something very similar …

okay, this will work! promise! i had the same problem recently.
1. get a disk
2. go to a friends computer, download http://www.avg.com antivirus on your disc, save it. take the disc and hold onto it as your going to use if for your computer.
3. power on your infected computer, as its powering up, tap the F8 key repeatedly until you see the safe mode appear, then click it. youll be operating in safe mode.
4. then put in your disc and download your http://www.avg.com antivirus program. once its finished loading in safe mode, run it! run the virus scans and after 10 mins or so, it will have wiped out all viruses! at the end of the avg virus scan you will see the infected files listed. then click ” remove unhealed files” by this time your infected files will be in a virus vault on your AVG program and quarantined. the key is too look at how many files are listed as infected? once your at zero, you should be fine! AVG removes those infected files completely. once the scans remove them, you can re run the virus scan again just too make sure you have ZERO infected files. your computer should be working properly at this point, and your windows should be opening and closing just fine! i would turn off your computer after the viruses have been removed and power it up, this will reset everything and you should be good to go!!!
