2. Push-ups. Good, old-fashioned push-ups are an effective way to burn arm fat. If you want to do one exercise that will work your biceps, triceps and forearms at the same time, you should definitely do some push-ups. Doing this exercise will help you burn calories, and also help you strengthen your back and help you to lose back fat.
3. Aerobic activity. Arm fat can be burned during cardiovascular workouts. You can work out to an aerobics video, or take an aerobics class. Dancing, running, and sports can be highly effective arm fat burning activities if you use wrist weights. Doing this on a regular basis will not only help you to lose arm fat, but will also help you to lose body fat overall.
4. Eating healthy foods. You will begin to lose arm fat if you start to eat healthier foods. Fruits and vegetables are much healthier than processed snacks like candy or chips. Eating foods that are baked rather than fried and are high in protein, vitamins and minerals will help you lose arm fat. Having low fat varieties of your favorite foods will help you to lose weight. You should be careful of how much sugar you consume as well as how much fat you eat. Make sure that you eat moderate portion sizes during meals and snacks.
If you perform some target exercises that focus on burning arm fat, do exercises for your entire body, and eat a healthy diet, you will lose fat. Bicep curls will build muscle, but won’t do anything for fat loss. Spot reduction does not work! The only way to loose arm fat is to lose fat over the entire body, however everybody stores fat differently. You may be one who stores fat in their arms first. In any case the BEST way to lose fat is to run and cut out all processed foods. Most people don’t like to hear that. There is no easy way out. Eat real food, meaning food found on the outside perimeter of the grocery store (excluding the deli meats and bakery). Fresh veggies, fruit, red meat, almonds, eggs and fish are some examples. Run three times a week and eat real food. Don’t worry if you can’t run far to start out. If you can only make it 100 yards just walk until you catch your breath and start running again. Run for at least a half hour every other day. A word of caution: listen to your body, it will tell you when it’s done.
