I want to gain muscle without gaining a lot of fat. How can I gain lean muscle without gaining a waist?
I’m 5’8″ and I weight around 155 lbs. I want to get up to 165-170 but lean. I have a little bit of a gut now but I’m in pretty good shape. What will I have to do in order to gain serious muscle without gaining a serious waist. I have a 32 to 34 inch waist right now. I want to shrink it to a 30 at least. Thanks!

first start eating healthy, of course.
that’ll help lose the weight.
for gaining muscle work out at least 3x’s a week but no more than 5x’s
to help with gaining muscle eat lean proteins
and drink protein shakes, they arent harmful and if since your looking to lose fat and gain weight at the same time i suggest this brand.

it doesnt have really anything in it so its healthy and you dont have to drink it in a shake you can put it in anything since this kind doesnt taste like anything

Don’t believe the acai berry sales pitch. I think you have to do the crunches first to get the waist down. I wouldn’t use a lot of the weight gainers or proteins because the natural way is better. Do a lil research and maintain a diet. Starches add weight but as long as your working out it should only increase target areas. try and get a weight lifting regement but don’t work the same muscles everyday. Muscle is heavier that fat the only thing once you stop lifting weights muscles will shrink. Rice potatoes and lean meats.

whenever you’ve got some spare time do 10 or 20 push-up and sit-ups everyday,
take a half-hour walk everyday, drink lots of water (about 2 or 3 quarts a day),
eat lots of protein,
and rather than eating 2 or 3 big meals a day eat 4 or 5 small meals a day (to keep your metabolism going).
