How long does it take to start losing weight?
how long does it take to start losing weight if you stop eating junk food, unhealthy food. if i start a diet tomorrow how long will it take to start losing weight. if i stop eating junk food. i want to lose 25 pounds in 2 months. so i need to lose 3 pounds per week. do i have to burn a lot of calories to start losing weight quickly. im 17 and i weigh 153 pounds.

3 pounds a week is about a quarter of a stone. but it’ll take about a year unless you are really vigarous with your exercise and only eat extremely healthy and low fat foods. you are better losing weight over a long period of time. then your body will be used to it and you won’t put the weight straight back on. i’ve started eating healthier and doing more exercise with a view to lose weight over the next 6 – 7 months.

It doesn’t work that way… throw out your calendar and your scale. Eat healthy for the rest of your life, and get active every day for the rest of your life. Your weight will be what it should be and you’ll feel better and look better for it.
Calculating how many pounds a week you “need” to lose is a sure way to end up heavier than when you started this fools errand.
