What time should I get to the theater for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on Friday?
I’m going with my friends on Friday, which is the first day of the Harry Potter movie. It starts at 8:20, but my friends and I want to get good seats. What time should we start standing in line do you think?
If it helps any, we’ll be attending in Redwood City, CA

Considering every kid that has to be in school that day will be going to any showing in the 6 or 8 o’ clock hour, I’d say you should get there at LEAST an hour early, if not much more (I like getting to movies like this way earlier, so I’d probably be there at 6pm). Standing in line is not that bad… bring a book, bring a portable DVD player, etc.
Have fun!

Early, unless you want to sit next to the actual screen
