What resolutions can we use for our growing illegal immigration problem?
Obviously, the deportation and wall is not enough.

We need a guest worker program. Our economy depends on these folks, like it or not. Why treat them like horrible criminals, when we NEED them, and they’re just trying to make a living? A guest worker program would help all concerned.

Deportation might work, if it was actually enforced. Unfortunately, most consider asking for papers to prove citizen status racial profiling.
There actually is a Workers Visa…..they just have to actually fill out the paper work for it.

Need to have a dialog with Mexico about its corruption and its racism against indian Mexicans.Which forces them to come here.
They prefer the “White Mexicans”

I think we need to take a stance as a country:
We are either open to people going to and from the US freely.
or
We are going to demand that citizens carry proof of their citizenship.
My grandparents were immigrants. They came here legally yet get never were respected. They worked their entire lives and never were treated equally. Illegal immigrants today want to be treated like citizens when they themselves didn’t have the decency to go through the legal ropes, regardless of how costly or timely it is.
Other countries imprison or even shoot illegal immigrants without warning. I don’t hate immigrants. In fact, if I were an immigrant I would feel more than ticked off at those illegal immigrants for giving me a bad rap.

Start shooting them as they sneak over our border. I mean, we can shoot someone breaking into our home, so why can’t we shoot someone breaking into our homeland.
We need A STASI style border with machine gun turrets, land mines and electrical wiring.
Anyone crossing into our homeland by any other means than through official crossing points should be shot and killed.

First of all there needs to be a consequence to hopping the border other then just being put back on the other side of it. I’m not saying shoot on sight but perhaps a week in the pokey for a first time offender. Then a month for a second offense, then a year for each subsequent one. Make sure these jails meet the exacting standard of the average Mexican jail.
Second (and probably more important): go after the employers! If you hire undocumented workers, you’re most likely doing it knowingly. I’ve filled out enough I-9s when starting new jobs to know this.
How hard is it to put a couple of undercover cops of Mexican heritage in the Home Depot parking lot so they can arrest the scumbag who hires them?

Ever heard of Operation Wetback? After all, their actions are only asking for it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetback

At this point, we actually have not deported anyone except the highcrimes types of people. It seems clear now that Obama had planned to Amnesty everyone in the interior of the U.S. and just do the real heavy duty criminals. The Arizona Law has changed that. Arizona can deport the illegal aliens willy nilly, and the rest of the United States can now follow their lead. At that point… you will see deportations.
Wall? Napolitano had her electric fence up and the Boeing people looked at it and with millions in contracts on the table, threw it in and said… it won’t work.
She canceled the rest of the Fence Contracts, and Texas and California have fences, but not AZ. So the new law is just another way to do the fence, and the fences in Texas and CA seem to be working rather well.. but interior enforcement is needed.
In addition to that, Obama cut the funds for the Border Patrol. He says he will enforce the law.. he does a cut to the Border Patrol? He cuts the Fences? Nobody waves majic wands over the illegal aliens and gets them to go home… you put them on a bus and take them home.
==================================
Growing problem? RE fund the Border Patrol, build the freaking fence, give us the law enforcement tools E Verify and Real I.D., allow the states to do interior enforcement without threats, and lets deport the illegal aliens.
And that is no more obvious than the nose on a clown.
