What did you do to lose weight fast?
I put on a little weight after a stay in the hospital and want to get rid of it asap. I’m not expecting to lose it all at once, but if I could lose a lil more than the recommended two pounds a week for the first two weeks, I’d be very happy =] Then I’ll start working to lose only 2 pounds a week.
So if anyone has suggestions I’m open to them

If you have had a stay in a hospital ,perhaps you should postpone your weight loss programme for the time being.
Let your body recover fully before taking up any strenous activity.

No White at Night. Follow this rule, it really works. No white at night means that after 7:00 p.m. you cannot eat: white rice, sugars, pastas, starches or breads. Think about how much that will cut out of your diet. You shouldn’t really eat anything after about 7:30 p.m. but especially not any of the “white” items above. If you must eat late at night, make sure you are eating complex carbs (wheat bread, whole grains, proteins) and not sugars and heavy pastas.

As a general rule you should cut out sugar and starches. Skip the following: sugar sodas, cookies, candy, breads and NO fattening Starbuck’s coffee drinks. Do you know how many calories are in a venti frappacino?
Choices should made wisely. Instead of a bagel and cream cheese and a venti mocha, go with a banana, and piece of cheese for breakfast. For lunch, stick with soups and salads. No croutons! Salad dressing should be balsamic vinegrette. If you a sandwich, make sure it is wheat bread, no mayo and no cheese. For dinner, grill some veggies with olive oil and have a small piece of steak or fish. Cutting out carbs will be easy and will taste good!Opt for vegetables and dip or peanuts as a snack. Try cheese and salami and forget the crackers.

Supplement your efforts with proven quick weight loss tools such as: whey protein shakes, a good multivitamin, and L-Glutamine supplements. Also consider purchasing a good heart-rate monitor to accurately track the intensity of your workouts.

you should eat at least 4-5 meals a day.
drink lots of water, and eat regularly. don’t starve yourself, because once you start eating again, you’ll gain everything back, trust me.
eat lots of fruits and veggies, and if you eat bread, make sure it’s whole grain. white bread is pretty fattening. you can also eat lean meats, like fish, turkey and chicken breast. eggs also help when trying to lose weight.
skip out on sweets, candy, sugary foods, chips, ice cream, cake, and cookies.
if you feel hungry, but don’t want to over eat, chew gum. it’ll keep your mouth busy and it tricks yourself into thinking your eating.
cut out ALL soda! if you stop drinking soda, it helps you out a lot!
and don’t forget to exercise!
try walking, jogging, jump rope, dancing, crunches, bike riding and swimming. try exercising for 45-80 minutes a day.
good luck!

Have you tried apple cider vinegar? It’s a safe natural way to lose weight and you can get it from your grocery store (don’t mistake it for regular white vinegar)! It is a natural appetite suppressant and helps you burn fat instead of storing it. Take two teaspoons of ACV before each meal or three times a day. It will help you burn fat and eat less (if appetite is a problem for you). You DO NOT have to change your eating habits (however, if you did it would help you lose weight faster). You can lose weight even faster if you pair ACV with another weight loss method like exercising. Here’s a guide on how to do it:

Hope that helps!

Begin eating a diet consisting almost exclusively of lean proteins (like skinless chicken breast), green vegetables, healthy nuts (like almonds and walnuts), and healthy fats (from fish, olive oil, flax seeds, flax oil, EFA supplements, etc.). A small amount of fruit is ok. Try to break up your food intake into 6 small meals per day.
