Will a virus kill an anti virus program first or is it the other way around?
Hey, I’m just curious whether a virus will kill an anti virus program first or if it’s the other way around. I’m talking about during execution, like if the anti virus hadn’t deleted it when it was downloaded. Thanks.

May be or may not be. It depends upon the programs written to make that virus.
Yes some virus are made in such a way that they first disable the antivirus installed in the computer when they get into the computer.
some disable the firewall.

i’m confused with your question. it is not called anti-virus if the virus will kill it. BUT if the AV you are using is weaker than the new virus itself, then a possibility that it will counteract and tend to enter into your computer even if you have the AV activated or on run. no matter how much protection you have in your PC, all virus or any malwares that may had entered into your PC will depend on the usage of your computer.
