I would say the average weight loss per week for a woman is 3 1/2 pounds.
I find that when I am craving something sweet I chew a piece of gum and that helps, also when I feel like snacking I brush my teeth because who wants to eat with the taste of toothpaste in their mouth.
For exercise I would do about 20-30 minutes a day. To track your progress weight yourself once a week at the same time on the same day.
And remember as your burn fat you body will put on muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat so don’t freak out if you find you gained a few pounds.

it shouldnt take you too long if you keep a decent diet and exercise regularly. i’ll actually recommend u learn some exercises you can do at home and do some strength training before you hit your cardio. this way, you’ll be toning muscles, burning more calories, and by the time you get to your cardio AFTER your workout…you’ll be burning straight fat instead of glycogen. your body burns glycogen as its first source of energy. after that, it goes for fat. so if you burn the glycogen during your exercising, when you hit cardio, its straight fat thats being burned.
just make sure that you keep your intensity high with your strength training. if you want to learn great exercises you can do at home for women…check this link out. http://www.fitness-industries.com/womensfitness/womensexercisesmain.html

1.—Drink alot of ice water, believe it or not, helps burn calories, models know that…especially before any meal, drink at least 2 big glasses full, you will eat less. But eat healthful foods!!!
2.—Ya gotta work out, be it simply walking up hills, get the metabolism on a ‘jumpbeat’….if you don’t want to look like Arnold Schwarzegger, but simply want to tone your body fat into toned muscles, you have to strecth first, do aerobics…or walk after stretching to elongate the muscles after stretching first—alot of injuries occur when proper strectching isn’t done first.
3.–NO snacking after 7pm, unless it’s cereal or fruit or just plain ol’ carrot/celery sticks.
I could go on and on, but that’s the basics. Place a pic of you when you were thin on the fridge…buy a new outfit a size smaller & believe it! You with prestige & energy will be able to wear it.
Keep the faith up! Good luck & with perserverance, you will succeed!
You do NOT want to lose alot of weight starving or barely eating, the body needs fuel.

Losing weight slowly is more constant.
So you should change your personal nutrition once and forever.
Reduce fat and sugar. No junk food.
Veggies, rice, potato and fish would help
Mainly replace coke and soda by water and sugar free tea
If you support that with sports like you said the process should go really well.
You should have a min of 30 minutes a day for workout
I wish good health and success

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

I am doing exactly that. I started 2 weeks ago at 158 pounds and have lost 4 pounds so far. I am monitoring everything I eat on an Excel spreadsheet which helps me stay on track and I end up taking in around 1400 calories a day give or take, making sure this consists of as little prepackaged food as possible to get more nutrients and less sodium. Also, 30 minutes of weight lifting 4 days per week (make sure to really push yourself) followed by 30 minutes on the elliptical or treadmill (should be sweating profusely). 2 days a week are 1 hour jogs with no weights and 1 day is complete rest.
