Not a good idea. You have to eat eventually and when you do you’ll put on twice as much weight. You’re better off eat healthily and excercise.

useless.
you need to eat less carbs (bread, pasta, potatoes) and drink more veg/ fruit juice, drink less alcohol and EXERCISE.
you must eat and eat a balanced reduced diet.

Verrrry innefective. Your body will go into “starvation mode”, meaning it won’t part with any of the fat stores you have. Eventually you’ll cave from the hunger and as soon as you eat it will be immediately stored as fat in case you starve yourself again.

your body goes into starvation mode and stores everything you eat, causing you to put on weight.

Not good at all, your metabolism will slow down as your body doesnt know when its getting it’s next meal. making losing weight even slower. Just restrict your calories & fat, don’t cut any food group out.

Not eating doesn’t do you any good. What happens is your body goes into starvation mode and then your metablolism doesn’t work right. So when ever you do eat, your body hangs on to every bit of it.
Now, if you eat properly (good food & nutrition), you will lose weight (if needed). If you exercise while eating ‘good’, you need to replace what you burned with good foods as well.

. mm .. it’s useless

Its not very effective at all, unless of course you become anerexia.
Your body needs energy to survive, the more enery (food) the better you run on it and the more energy you have to survive through the day.
If you starve your body it will cause problems down the track. No nutrients can cause the inner body to stop functioning properly..
Starving yourself is not a good idea at all, and you’ll find that if you do, when you do want to eat, you’ll eat all the wrong foods and eat alot more.

it doesnt work…you will just die…and how realistic is a diet of not eating for the rest of your life?…you eventually eat again..putting back on all the weight and then some…OR you die…

The old fashioned term to what you are suggesting is ‘crash dieting’. A silly practice imho. The body will think it is starving and will slow down your metabolic rate. Just carry on with the way you have been and be PATIENT. None of this crash dieting fooling about!

Completely counter-productive.
If you stop eating, your body thinks it is going to starve. To protect itself, it slows down the metabolism, so food is burned more slowly, making it harder to lose weight. It also stores any food not burned off as fat.

thats just silly u should never starve yourself it is very unhealthy as u should no. just keep up with the keeping fit and healthy eating

Drinking water is good to hydrate yourself.
Dieting is not the only way to lose weight…
If the body does not get enough food (nutrients), it goes into starvation mode. In this mode, the body stores everything it can as fat so it can survive. This slows the metabolism rate and when start eating again, the body stores this new intake as fat. Controlling calorie intake is only one part of the energy equation.
Understanding energy balance is the key to lose weight successfully.
calorie intake > calorie use = weight gain
calorie intake = calorie use = no change to body weight
calorie intake < calorie use = weight loss http://thehappyhealth.com/updates/?p=26
Rather than go on extreme diets by starving oneself or eating selected food groups, maintain a balanced diet. Eating small meals more frequently would help to maintain the metabolic rate and allow the body to get use to normal functioning with less calories.
Dieting is temporary deprivation and not the best solution. Eating healthy means developing a new mind set. Reducing weight and weight maintenance is a lifelong pattern of moderate exercise and balanced diet.

Not eating is the worst thing you can do. Your body will think it is starving and hold onto those fat cells. Cut your sugars. Don’t cut out your carbs but do eat more complex carbs such as whole wheat bread. Complex carbs give you roughage which stimulates the colon to work. Also your body burns more calories to be able to metabolize the complex carbs.
Be sure to measure everything that you eat and write down the calories. You should be on a diet of 1000 to 1200 calories a day. You will lose about two pounds a week. If you want to speed up the process you will have to stay active . Doing things like yard work(digging & raking etc.) will help you burn a lot of calories. You didn’t put this weight on overnight and it won’t come off overnight. Sorry.

I’m trying to lose weight too and it’s sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it’s really working for her (100% natural). I’m gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. It’s really a colon cleanse, and it’s a healthy way to detox, not like most diet pills. Check their website at
http://www.fit-quick-thin.us , my aunt got a free trial and paid only $4.95 shipping and handling.
