Google Free clinics in your area.
There is always a place to go where they take people that qualify for free care.
If you are working then they will have a sliding scale fee that you can pay.
Worse comes to worse, call the board of health in your town for direction.

There are some clinics that do this that dont charge much. Bad thing is though that the waiting period is like 2 or more months. These are the things people that have no med insurance have to put up with.

Eat a low-cholesterol, low-fat diet, which includes cottage cheese, fat-free milk, fish, vegetables, poultry, and egg whites. Use monounsaturated oils such as olive, peanut, and canola oils or polyunsaturated oils such as corn, safflower, soy, sunflower, cottonseed, and soybean oils. Avoid foods with excess fat in them such as meat (especially liver and fatty meat), egg yolks, whole milk, cream, butter, shortening, pastries, cakes, cookies, gravy, peanut butter, chocolate, olives, potato chips, coconut, cheese (other than cottage cheese), coconut oil, palm oil, and fried foods.
More than half of the population have high cholesterol & triglycerides.

I suspect that you mean you want, rather than need a test. many pharmacies offer a screening service.

You need to see a Doctor or a service which will provide the full lipid profile, these machines which you find in stores are not accurate.
Why haven’t you got health insurance? No matter what you do in life, health should always comes first. None of the rest matters if you are not healthy.
