How can I remove a security programme from my PC?
I have just got something called ‘Personnal Security’ appear on my PC. I tried to remove it via add and remove programmes and now all of my desktop icons have disappeared. I am having a lot of trouble getting anything from my PC. It would appear that I am expected to buy their security package, and it claims my PC is riddled with viruses. I think that this is the only one. How to I remove it without damaging my PC or having to buy their security software?

‘Personal Security’ is a rogue anti-spyware program which can be removed with MalwareBytes AntiMalware.
Follow these step-by-step removal instructions here:

I use Avast , I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. I recently changed to Comodo firewall which seems fine and I seem to boot up quicker. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Three sites you can use safely.
