Any healthy recipes that are still filling and have beef as the main course?

I am trying to get my family to eat more healthy meals – the problem is, most of the meal recipes out there are not really filling. My Husband is a big guy and works in construction, so I can’t feed him chicken, steamed veggies and rice or something like that because it is not filling and also does not provide him with enough energy for the next day’s work.

Most of my meals have to consist of Beef – anything, ground, sirloin, etc – Can anyone suggest hearty meals to feed a big guy and yet are still healthy?

make a meat and potatoes casserole:
    ground beef
cut up potatoes (peels on for me 🙂 )
a can of cream of mushroom soup
    some milk
    cheese
and you can add any frozen or canned vegetable e.g. corn, corn peas and carrot mix, green beans, green chiles, lima beans – whatever you have!
i usually cook my burger first and i like to roast my potatoes, but you can boil them for a few minutes.
then put it all together in a 9×13 casserole and bake at 350 until your cheese is all melted and i like to top it off with panko for when i am extra hungry! (before i bake it)

    Try beef stir-fry.

Also, I think you’re confusing filling and overeating. There are tons of non-beef recipes out there that are very filling. Breakfast will provide him enough energy for the day’s work, not a meal the day before.

Lean cut of roast, slow cooked and make french dips. Make home made potato wedges by pre-cooking baking potatoes, slice when cooled, mix with olive oil, salt, garlic pepper and paprika, bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Serve with corn or green beans.

Pot roast – slow cooker, with beef broth and potatoes, onions and carrots.

id go for stir fry beef if its a good cut or a nice thick stew with cheaper meats. also beef olives stuffed with anything like eggs or spinach and ham. for healthy potatoes recipe, slice thinly potatoes and boil in milk, place in a dish with some low fat cream and finish in the oven…mmm
