Is green tea healthy for you? What effect will it have if I drink one cup each day?

I am starting to eat healthier, and am taking small steps. My first step is to have at least one or two cups of Green Tea each day. I heard that green tea is good for you and good for your skin (I have a bit of acne). So, if you have ever tried doing this, does it work for you? Any tips on eating healthier and developing healthier habits? Thanks in advance!
