I don’t recommend the way I quit, I found out I was pregnant, lol. Haven’t smoked in 14 years now though! Quit cold turkey too….. I will admit I was a miserable bit@h

Chew the nicotine gum, and stick with it. Follow the directions they give you for usage. Then taper off at a rate than you can work with. Then transition into regular chewing gum that tastes similar to the nicotine gum you used. Eventually, you won’t need any gum at all. You have to find it within yourself to quit–all the good advice and opinions are meaningless if you are not truly serious about kicking the habit. . . .

I quit cold turkey. Anyone that tells you it can’t be done, is dead wrong.

Maybe it’s because I grew up, I don’t know. But one day, I just got tired of blowing my money into thin air. Since I have a hobby that is not cheap, I figured I could better spend my money enjoying that.

I think the answer is that you need a good reason to quit. I do regret smoking for so long because the older I get, the harder it is to breath. I can no longer run, swim, hike in the woods, ride a bike—– All because I smoked since I was 13. I am now going on 74, I quit when I was 60.

BTW, did you know that cigarettes at $25.00 per carton cost $1,300 a year if you smoke a carton a week? Think what you could do with that extra money. Might pay for a very nice Christmas for one thing!
