question about fat loss and muscle gain?
hey soo i am slightly over weight and have started going to the gym. am not concerned about my size and have started the gym to bulk up in muscle but understand that i need to lower my body fat to see the muscle. so i started eating better and the weight training burns lots of calories.
so i started taking protein shakes to improve my muscle growth, however will these but i reverse effect on my fat loss ?

If your only increasing muscle mass and eat healthy while doing than you’ll only gain muscle not fat. You’ll probably lose a few pounds of fat too working up a sweat while weight training. If you want to make faster progress, try fitting in cardio exercises to your routine like running, biking, swimming, etc. Good luck!

It sounds like your new to weight training, so if you are you will probably be able to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time.
Increasing your muscle mass alone or with minimal fat gain can also improve your bodyfat % which is the key to having a good looking physique.
