How to get medical insurance for a visitor from another country?
My mother-in-law is visiting from another country and will be staying with us for six months. I’d like to know how I can get a good medical insurance for her while she’s staying with us. Any advice?

There are companies that offer travel insurance for those from a different country visiting. Some of these travel medical insurance policies provide Medical Coverage particularly evacuation, flight, accidental death, limited baggage, and trip interruption
I used InsureMyTrip.com http://www.insuremytrip.com to buy a travel medical policy for a relative who came to visit in the US for 6 months. You can get quotes from different companies for the type of service you’d want for your visitor.
I paid almost $300 for a 6 months coverage for my relative.

Check with your bank. They offer travel insurance also for visitors. But do not take the fist offer. Blue cross is also a good choice (I have used a few times). Your insurance agent also should be able to help, at least give you a good lead.
