Whats the best way to cook deer meat?

I am tired of frying it and boil it in roast!
What kind of marinade? It has a game taste!

Our family’s ALL TIME favorite meal is venison pepper steak. Slice 1 lb of deer steaks or chops into slim strips like fajita meat. Then put them in a bowl and put equal amounts of worcestershire and teriyaki sauce to cover the meat, just barely. Usually about 1/4 cup of each, unless using a whole lot of meat. Allow to marinate a few hours if possible, overnight is ideal – in the refrigerator covered in plastic wrap. Dice a large onion, and cut a large green pepper into strips like used for fajitas. After finished marinating meat – put meat and marinade in frying pan, and throw the diced onion in, too. While cooking, you can add any other seasonings you like – I enjoy garlic, onion powder, and seasoning salt. Then when meat is tender, add 1 envelope of brown gravy mix and 1 cup of water (sometimes I use 2 packets because I really like it saucy- and 2 cups water) At the same time, put in the green pepper strips. Cook until green pepper is tender or to your liking. Serve over cooked white rice.
