What is the best way to cook meat that has been defrosted and you want to refreeze?
My freezer broke recently, but I saved most of the frozen meat but putting it in the refrigerator. Now I have a bunch of meat that I need to cook and refreeze. What is the best method of cooking so that when I do defrost it again it won’t be real dry? Boil it?
I want to be able to do whatever with it when I defrost it again, so I didn’t want to over season it. I have beef, pork and chicken.

Cook it the way you would normally cook it, cool then freeze.
I would suggest the oven if you have a lot to do.

I would cook the meat the way I would cook it if I was going to eat it.

I would suggest boiling or baking for chicken. Bake the beef and pork. Just make sure that you do not overcook now and when you thaw to use the meat and it will not be dry.

There is no “right” way to do this. I would think ahead about how you might use the meat, then prepare for those recipes and portion, then freeze.
