If I stopped eating for 2 weeks and walk 2 miles a day how much weight should I loose?
I have 27 more pounds to loose. I need to do this quickly, my Doctor has put me on meds but they do not seem to be working I eat only 1 meal a day and that is around 5 pm I do not eat after 6pm and I work out 1 hour a day. I have lost 55 pound in just 3 months but the rest will not go away. I think if I stopped eating all total that may drop the extra weight. Has anyone out there tried this and does it work?

If you stop eating, it will kill you. Shortly after your death, you’ll lose a lot of weight, and will continue to do so.
Instead of just meds, your doctor should perscribe a fitness plan, which you should adhere to.

I can promise you will gain it all back if you do end up losing it from this method, but usually what happens if you starve yourself you end up giving in and going for something that is right there usually some kind of processed packaged foods, or takeaways,
Either way its just a waste of time.
You will lose it if you have 6 small healthy meals a day, and walk that 2 miles, gradually increasing as you get fitter. just might take a little longer than you want though because sadly there is no quick and easy way to long lasting weight loss.
Good Luck!!

The problem is that when you restrict eating, your metabolism gets far lower than it was before and you eventually plateau as your body accommodates the changes.
I checked the calorie burning of one group of people who were obese. After they lost some weight, their basal metabolic rate (without exercise) dropped to below mine, and I am just a short girl!
Here is what you need to do:
Eat smaller meals more often (this will keep blood sugar levels stable – it is easy to binge on a single meal, and one meal per day tells your body that it needs to conserve energy).
Make sure your calories are not too high and that you keep a food diary of some kind to count it all (it is easy to make mistakes). Fitday.com has a free diary and a calorie calculator is available at http://weight-loss.co.nz/dailyneeds.php
Also, you really need to exercise with more intensity, longer, or with different exercises to “shock” your body into a higher calorie burn.
55 pounds in 90 days is a staggering success! Congratulations! Just make sure your body does not “freak out” and go into starvation mode on account of such rapid changes.
By the way, if you stop eating you will only lose muscle mass, your body will hold on to every ounce of fat it can (plus it will mean that your metabolism slows down so you can’t eat as much), and you will likely binge or pass out while exercising due to inadequate nutrition. DON’T DO IT. GUARANTEED FAILURE.
Hope this helps!
