I think all that sounds good, except for breakfast. I might try eating something a little bit more filling for breakfast.

you need to make brakfast your biggest meal of the day with all the protiens and everything and then have the rest gradually getting smaller, everything else sounds great and the snacks sound good 🙂 but for the cereal bar try and use that as a snack. 🙂 hope i helped

You’re not eating nearly enough calories, especially if you intend to exercise 30 minutes every day. What is going to happen, and I hereby offer to lay any money you like on it, is that you will be pleased and amazed in your first couple weeks on the diet because you will lose a few pounds very quickly, and then you will become disheartened and discouraged after that when your metabolism slows down and you stop losing, and possibly start gaining, weight. With the tiny amount of calories you are consuming here, your body is going to react as though it is starving, and will do so more quickly because of the exercise. I recommend a more moderate approach, namely, finding out your BMR, finding out your particular calorie requirements based on your age, height, current weight, activity level, and goals, and sticking with them. I have attached a link to a calculator that has helped me lose 25% of my body weight. Good luck to you.

2 lbs a week if you pull it off will be a very healthy way to keep it off but you need to do it properly.
It is a good start and you are on the right track however you need to eat more calories. The average calorific intake for a woman is 2000 Kcals per day and to be honest to lose weight healthily you need to cut out 500 calories a day. Any more and you will probably go into starvation mode which will actually make your body stock pile what little calories you take in.
Especially for dinner you need something more substantial, like a chicken breast and veg etc. Plus any bread is pretty bad. Other than that you look like your doing ok, perhaps have soup for lunch instead of another cereal.
One thing i find that helps too is don’t be super strict as you will not keep it up, you have to give yourself small treats now and again (btw SMALL treats not like a whole tub of ice cream lol) but obviously maintain most of your will power.
Believe you can do it and you will. Keep up the exercise !!! Good Luck

I think you should be eating a bit more than that, especially for breakfast. A cereal bar is just full of sugar and has no goodness it in. Swap it for a fibrous cereal like porridge or bran and have some fruit in it or with it or a glass of fresh juice.
Then for lunch you can try things like salads, homemade vegetable soups, wholemeal sandwiches with a healthy filling and salad. Followed by fruit or low fat yogurt.
Then for the evenings alternate your meals, cook lean meat/fish with vegetables if you’re not vegetarian. You should be able to avoid snacks if you eat 3 or 4 sensible meals during the day. That plus the exercise will put you on track for losing 2lbs a week whilst staying healthy.

I eat all natural, organic cereal bars (from Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods) as snacks when I want something sweet and usually when I’m not home as they’re nice and portable, not as meals.
I don’t consider Special K healthy. Most varieties don’t contain whole grains, or if they do, it’s after the refined stuff. They also contain things like partially hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, HFCS and other artificial stuff. Yet, thanks to a slick marketing campaign, Kellogg’s advertises the Special K stuff as healthy. Eh.
If the soup is canned it will likely be laden with sodium and other preservatives. I would have a nice lean protein like beans or tofu, veggie burger, etc. with the broccoli (frozen and put in hot water long enough to thaw) as a side dish– more flavor and more nutrients.
I’ve looked at All Bran cereal and they also contain things like HFCS that I don’t consider healthy. Also, I eat enough fruits, veggies and whole grains that I don’t think I need extra bran like that in my life.
My “diet” is nothing but whole, natural foods. No animal or animal products, but plenty of whole grains, fruits, veggies, beans, etc. No enriched flour, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, hydrogenated oils or anything else that looks fake.
Somebody said no snacking. I disagree. I do snack. Sure, it’s real foods, but I’ll do things like have an apple and peanut butter in the afternoon just because it’s there. Or before dinner, while it’s cooking, I’ll have a handful of peanuts or a slice of all-natural whole wheat bread as a snack. Sometimes, I’ll have a slice of bread (with Smart Balance light) while my vegetable water is heating, just to have something to nibble. (Or I’ll clean the kitchen while the water is heating.) I see nothing wrong with snacking, as long as it’s not junk.
