What vitamins can I take to lose weight?
I have been trying to lose weight for so long and I always have trouble. I am 30 pounds over weight and would do anything to lose it. What my usual routine is not eating all day and then binging on Wendy’s or any other food at night. It like gives me a high but then after I am done, I stress out and cry to Yahoo Answers! Please any advice would be greattt.

One reason you cannot lose the weight is precisely the pattern you described- not eating, then binging.
Not eating puts body into starvation mode. When you finally cave and binge, the body clings to the calories you eat greedily. It thinks it needs to because your consumption isn’t reliable. So, first things first- change your eating habits. Not an easy thing to do, but if you’re serious about losing weight it’s a MUST. Not eating is not how to lose weight- especially safely. The way to lose weight is to be smarter about what you eat. If you can’t afford the time or money to make fresh food at home all the time, be smarter about what you eat on the go. Let’s try a low-fat granola bar over twinkies, Tortillas wrapping up lettuce, chicken, a little cheese over burgers. Things like that can help.
Just to note: eating 5-6 small meals a day can actually help increase your body’s burn rate since it doesn’t think it needs to conserve. Just be smart about WHAT you eat and HOW MUCH.
No vitamin is going to help you lose weight. They are essential for healthy and normal functioning- and if your diet consists mostly of Wendy’s then you definitely need one. A good multi-vite is all you need, probably with a little iron. I like Apex personally. They are enrobed to release various vitamins and minerals at different points in the digestive tract for optimal absorption. But know, you still pee most of it out. Also- follow instructions on the bottle because it is possible to get toxic doses of some vitamins if you over do it.
The other thing I suggest is to find a physical activity you enjoy. Sounds like time and stress are factors in your lifestyle choices. Find something that can be an enjoyable stress release. Swimming? Jogging? How about a nice calm walk in the evening, just to have some alone time and move the body a little? Anything is better than nothing- and I think you will feel a little better if you do it, too.
I wish you luck in your weight loss goals. Remember, safe and slow weight loss is far more likely to be lasting weight loss than any “quick fix”. About 1-2 lbs a week is a safe and healthy goal. Good luck and take care.

If you eat a healthy balanced diet you won’t be starving and thus won’t binge. Keep in mind that you need to change your lifestyle, not just lose a few lbs and then go back to what you were doing before. There are several free websites that can help you figure out how to eat a healthy diet and lose weight. Personally, I like sparkpeople.com but there are others (calorieking.com is one). If you’re eating healthy foods and eating enough of them, you won’t feel deprived. Vitamins aren’t going to do it. You need to learn how to eat a proper diet in the right quantity. Exercising, so that you use more calories over the course of a day than you eat, is also part of a healthy lifestyle. You can do this!
