What other things bring back fond memories of Christmas as a child?
Besides turnips for me it’s the smell of spotted owl eggs and spam cooking Christmas morning, chocolate dipped radishes, onions wrapped in colored cellophane and relief not finding my stocking full of creamed corn. Although my brother did put creamed corn in my slippers one year, I locked him in the outhouse to get even.
