How many calories are there in a hard shell taco and a tortilla/soft shell taco?
I would like to compare the two but the box doesn’t indicate how many calories they have exactly. Do you know which one is healthier and less fattening? I’d think a hard shell taco but I’d like to know what you guys think.

Hard shell taco is healthier, and less fattening. I don’t know the calorie count, though.

A hard shell taco means it has been fried in lard or some other fattening oil on top of whatever fattening ingredients are already in the tortilla, if you really want a tortilla but not the calories and fat, you should eat soft corn tortillas or wheat flour tortillas that are not made with lard.

Using a Taco Bell hard shell basic beef taco as a baseline, it shows 170 calories. The Taco Bell soft taco equivalent is 200 calories. The hard shell has significantly less sodium. I wouldn’t call either healthy.
