How do you fix a toilet that is loose and rocks back and forth? Do I need a plumber for this job?
One of my toilets I noticed is moving back and forth when someone uses it. I have never had a toilet that was not secured on the floor. what could have caused this to do that?
Thank you ozzie hugs. You saved me a bunch of money. God bless.

I don’t think you will need a plumber, Look at the toilet at the base . There are two plastic caps, one on each side. These caps cover the bolts that hold the thing ti the floor. Pop those caps off and tighten the bolts. Do not over tighten, do one at a time, a little at a time until you have it tight enough to make it stop moving. If you over do it ,like tighten one side all the way and then go to the other you can crack the Porcelain. Be careful, you can do it.
