i am aware of the cost of the machines and i am aware that i need to eat properly to lose weight and fat, but i just need a direct answer in which is better for fat burning

Id Say Elliptical.
But They Cost More.
How About Running With 5 lb Weights In Each Hand.

Eating a healthy diet and running outside, doesn’t necessarily need to be for an hour. you’ll see changes within weeks with just 30 minutes a day, but your diet needs to be healthy at the same time too, you cant just lose weight/ burn fat just with exercise alone.

I would do both but switch every 2 weeks.
