What is the general ratio to make cannabis butter?

I have looked at numerous websites and they all tell me in ounces how much to mix with the butter, but I don’t have a scale… Can someone tell me how much cannabis shake/leaf in cups or mL, (so I can use a measuring cup), that I should use and in how much butter? Thanks.
I have the shake ground up finely by the way…

doesn’t need to be an exact amount, just at least 7 grams or more

If you are using shake and or leaf I would use about a 1/4 cup to 1 stick of butter.More or less to taste.

For this recipe you don’t have to grind it so fine.

Try 1 cup of cannabis and 2 cups of butter.
    Melt butter in a pot.
In a non-stick pan, brown the cannabis for a couple of minutes. DO NOT BURN IT.
Add the cannabis to the butter..
Cook until butter is foaming and a little browned..
Strain the butter through fine mesh into a bowl, or plastic container.
    You can discard the cannabis.

It tastes better when you don’t get pieces stuck in your teeth.
Let me know how it worked. 😉
