What will you give thanksgiving for this year at the Thanksgiving dinner table?

At Thanksgiving dinner, my family takes turns telling the things they are most thankful for in the past year. I am thankful for the best husband in the world. I am thankful for my family, my loving grandsons and how wonderful it is to have them in our family. I am thankful for two of the best daughters God ever gave anyone. I am thankful for my son-in-law, and his loving nature. Mostly I am thankful for the faithfulness of God and His loving grace through Christ Jesus.

Still having freedom to worship as I please. All the freedoms we take for granted. My family. My home. All the nice things I have that I don’t deserve. Friends. A loving Heavenly Father that I can talk to and give my burdens to anytime I want. Being forgiven. The blessings I am thankful for are too numerous to list but these are a few that stand out.

It’s kind of ironic that you would ask this, I always ask all my guests when we set down and have everyone around the table give something they are thankful for before we pray.

Whatever is on sale at the local upermarket..My family are nothing but mean, beer drinking rednecks who would love to go and shoot their own turkey…

    They don’t deserve my time.
But I will buy them somethig or they’ll shoot me!

I won’t be “at the table”. I’ll be working doubles, Thursday and Friday. So…I’ll be thankful for the time and a half for 32 hours.
