How long can alcohol be detected by Ethanol tests and standardized drug tests?
I’m on probation for underage alcohol consumption and possession. I drank Friday night til 6 in the am. Is there anyway alcohol can be detected Tuesday evening around 5 or so using standardized drugs tests, ethanol testing, or any other type of test that can detect alcohol? Should I drink lots of water or anything to help?
I’ve tried doing some research on it but I’m seeing all kinds of different numbers of days, so I figured I would see what you all think, or if anyone can speak 1st hand about it.
Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

as far as i know alcohol is excreted at approx 1 unit per hour so 4 pints of an evening will just be gone from your system say by 9am .once it has been metabolised by your liver you piss it out and its gone ,nothing lingers so nothing can be detected,

I would say that if you drink a lot of water you will be okay. But I am not positive. I would think that anything you drink will be out of your system within 24 hours. I did hear that anything you digest (like pills) are usually out of your system in about 3 days. So I would think that a liquid would be out in that same amount of time or shorter.

Standardized drug screens (with urine) do not test for alcohol. Only marijuana, cocaine, barbiturates, amphetamines and meth-amphetamines. Breath alcohol tests will detect alcohol in your breath within 10 hours of your last drink. So you should be fine.
