Is it better to walk flat or at an incline on the Treadmill for fat burning and pure weight loss?
I have been walking at a small incline, but have noticed I am replacing the fat with muscle. If I do not want to gain muscle, but just burn fat, which one should I do? I am trying to become slender not built.

your best to do walking on flat surface. i would also say that you should try brisk walking (fast), as this will burn more calories as you are walking at a quicker pace.

Listen, walking on a flat surface such as a treadmill is nice for long term and slow weight loss, but if you want some quick weight loss, incline the treadmill to 10-15 degress and walk on it for 15-20 minutes. Nothing more. Either way, you will lose body fat, but you will also build muscle.
If you want to only lose fat without building muscle you need to focus on diet programs, not fitness programs.
