What is your favorite fancy alcoholic drink to make at home?

I have been making gin and tonics and mojitos since I have a huge mint plant I got as a gift… but I need some new ideas to keep my guests happy. Thanks!

    Sangria!!!

I have an awesome summertime sangria:
    -Bottle of white wine
    -1/2 cup Brandy
    -1/2 cup Peach Schnapps
    -Lots of fruit!
    -Ginger ale

-In a large pitcher, mix 1/2 cup brandy and 1/2 cup Peach Schnapps.
-Stir, and add fruit. I usually use peaches, raspberries, oranges and lemons. Sometimes I add a splash of lime or lemon juice. You can also buy a small fruitcups at the grocery store and add them in.
-Let that marinate for a little while, then add the bottle of wine.
-Chill until ready serve, and add gingerale just before serving, adding until it’s as strong or as dilluted as you want it.
-If needed, add a little sugar.

    Enjoy!

A great after dinner drink is a Northern Michigan delight called a “Duck Fart.”

1/3 Kalhua; 1/3 Baliy’s; 1/3 Crown Royal poured in that order straight up or on the rocks.

I’m sure this drink is called something else in other parts of the country.

A small glass of wine with your dinner is ideal (pregnant or not)esp. a glass of red wine. rexelas and reduces stress levels and helps lower blood pressure. helps you to fall asleep sooner too. A small glass is not much but the trick is to have one glass and that`s it. No more than that.

I think its best that you ask a health spciialest that. Only they can truly tell you whats acceptable and whats not during pregnancy because the last thing you need is complications. Its best so you can sure you have a healthy child and smooth pregnancy.
