Does all bacteria get killed if you bake food at 425 degrees? How long does it have to be cooked?

I’m cooking scalloped potatoes, and am worried because I spilt some chicken juice in them while I was moving things around the counter.

Yes the food will be safe. you cook raw chicken in the oven at 375 – 400 degrees and it’s safe to eat. and you only have a little splash of the chicken juice in it. I think scalloped potatoes cook for 30 minutes or so you are safe! plus the liquid in the potatoes actually boils so everything will be killed off

It is imposible to kill all bacteria because some turn into spores, which are much harder to kill. but you will be safe, bacteria will die at 165 F.

The food you are cooking will be safe.
