EASY Chicken and Gravy. (6 steps)
cut up chicken pieces (approx. 6-8 pieces)
a can of cream of mushroom soup
a half can of water
a dash of dried thyme
seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper
1/2 sliced onion (cut into slices)
cooking oil to coat the pan
1. Season the chicken pieces with seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
2. In a lightly oiled skillet, brown the chicken on all sides on medium heat.
3. After the chicken is browned, remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
4. Pour the can of soup in the skillet and add in a half can of water. mix it all together until it is slightly smooth.
5. Put in a dash of dried thyme, and put all the chicken pieces back in the skillet along with the sliced onions and cover it with a lid.
6. Turn the skillet down to the lowest setting and let it continue to cook until the onions are soft and the chicken is tender. (about 15-20 minutes)
Serve this dish with white rice and this is a great meal. You can also throw in some diced potatoes and baby carrots to this dish along with the sliced onions too, if you like. This dish is also good heated up for leftovers. Enjoy.

He will soon learn!!!
I live in Germany so there are some great recipes here.
German Potato Salad, make a big quantity, it is filling and goes a long way. Nice with roast meats and gravy.
Pancake soup, I am sure your brother will like this. It is dead easy to make. He could also make the pancakes and eat for breakfast with apple compote.
Good luck
