how long can cookie dough stay good?

we baught a container of cookie dough the large nestle toll house kind.

and we used about half of it a few weeks before christmas.

is it still good over a month later?

i dont think so, but other people in my house disagree and want to feed it to little children.

    If it’s been in the freezer, I think it will last 6 mos. to a year. Refrigerator a couple of months. Depends on how you stored it.

    i would look and see what the date is on the container but if you feel that they are not good throw them out.

    Take a look at it. Believe it or not, stuff like that is made with so many preservatives, it lasts a long time. If it appears to have same consistency and there is no smell, chances are it’s good.

    If it was homemade cookie dough, i wouldn’t use it, because of the eggs. But again, it’s proccesses and more than likely pasteurized, so if it looks good, i would use.
