What are some easy dessert recipes?

I am a busy babysitter of a 21/2 yr old and a 51/2 yr old, and my 5month old son. I need some easy recipes for the 5 yr old and I to do for lunch or snack time, even breakfast.

Creamy Chocolate Pudding with Whip Cream and a cherry on top. You can also make this as a pie filling….this is very yummy and very very easy! All with the help of J-E-L-L-O!

For snack time i give my17 month old, crackers with ham and cheese on top…he loves it because theyre bite size.
For Lunch time grilled cheese sandwiches are a must or Mac and cheese. and for breakfest you can make egg and cheese sandwiches or you can make fun pancakes which can be mini size with fruit on top. Theres allot of thing you can do to make them easy, but with kids you always have to make things fun and colorful!

try this…an easy and delicious Italian custard. you can keep it well in your refrigerator for several days..

    Panna Cotta:

    INGREDIENTS
    1/3 cup skim milk
1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
    2 1/2 cups heavy cream
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    DIRECTIONS
Pour milk into a small bowl, and stir in the gelatin powder. Set aside.
In a saucepan, stir together the heavy cream and sugar, and set over medium heat. Bring to a full boil, watching carefully, as the cream will quickly rise to the top of the pan. Pour the gelatin and milk into the cream, stirring until completely dissolved. Cook for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla and pour into six individual ramekin dishes.
Cool the ramekins uncovered at room temperature. When cool, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight before serving.

Cut up fresh fruits & vegetables. Also cubed cheese. Those are the best dessert, & snack for a growing child. Nothing is more natural & the best sweets than fruits. You have control, train them young on eating the right foods from the begining.

Try this very easy chocolate pudding

    1 1/4 lbs. silken tofu
3/4 cup semi- sweet chocolate chips melted

Puree the tofu until it is smooth. Add the melted chocolate and blend thoroughly. Pour into seven dessert bowls. Refrigerate overnight.

If u think that u dont have the time to melt chocolate chips, try it with chocolate syrup.

U can top it with whipped cream, sprinkle some chocolate chips on top. Garnish it with some fresh and colourful fruits like strawberries. U can also use diff types of nuts and syrups. Kids like their food really colourful. Actually this is a good dessert for adults too. When it comes to garnishing just chk out what u have at hand and let ur imagination fly.

I saw this at a day care. Take one small package of Jello and pour it into a bowl. Dip banana chunks in it and eat. They used strawberry Jello and it smelled so good. Another very easy one is to mix one tub of Cool Whip with one can of cherry pie filling and mix, you can add chopped nuts if you like. A similar recipe is to mix one tub of Cool Whip with a can of well-drained pineapple and some flaked coconut. You can make a sweet fruit salad using a small container of any fruit yogurt and some chopped fruits such as bananas, grape halves, apples, etc.
