Does anyone have any Lasagna OR BBQ Pork/Chicken Recipes?
I’m wanting to fix a surprise dinner for my husband on his birthday. His favorite dishes seem to be Lasagna and BBQ. (However, I don’t want to mix THOSE 2 together!).
I’d prefer for the chicken or pork recipes to be bonless ones, but if not i’ll still take any suggestions. It would also be great to get a recipe that would consist of getting the meat REALLY tender.
Just let me know how to make it and would be nice if it was a recipe that was just for 2 people.
Thanks so much in advance for your suggestions!

Put about 3 or 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs, of course) in a square (9″x9″ or even 8″x8″ if they’ll fit) cake pan and pour about half a bottle of good barbecue sauce over this. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 45 minutes. Be sure to thoroughly spray the pan with non-stick spray first, of course, including the edges.
Economy version: double the recipe and put it in a 9″x13″ pan and use the whole bottle of sauce, then bake it about 1 hour. Freeze half of it to be quickly reheated later. You can save big bucks on your groceries for two people by buying the larger pack and using it for two meals.

You know. whenever I am in need of a good, quick, and simple recipe, I go to http://www.landolakes.com. If you register they give you all kind of great perks like an ingrident substitue tool and other stuff. You should go and try it out.
If that doesn’t work, you can always resort to the old tried and true method. GOOGLE

Lasagna Recipe
Easy Lasagna
(its the basic recipe i use)
8 ounces lasagna noodles
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
8 ounces mushrooms, optional
1 jar (about 16 ounces) spaghetti sauce, your favorite
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried leaf oregano, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled
1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside. In a large skillet, brown beef, onion, and mushrooms; drain well. Stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, salt, oregano, and basil. In a 2-quart buttered baking dish (about 11x7x2-inches), layer 1/3 of the lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the sauce and 1/3 of the ricotta cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat layers twice. Bake lasagna for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly heated and bubbly. Let stand for 8 to 10 minutes before cutting and serving. Serves 6 to 8.
