Myself, my husband and one friend have all quit on Chantix. All three of us only took the medicine for three weeks, because it was making us batsh*t crazy and suicidal. But it worked. It has now been six months and we are not smoking.
So I would recommend taking it for a few weeks to get through and then stop and continue with your own willpower. Any questions let me know.
