Quitting cold turkey is the easiest. Try doing something else like a hobby to keep you calm whenever you get a craving. Add up all the money you could save a year by not smoking cigarettes and think of stuff you could be buying or saving up for instead.

Do more sports like running etc. The more you run, the more you will understand that smoking and running do not go together and the less you will want to smoke after activities.

My older brother went “cold turkey” with the help of an A.A support group because he was also an drinker. However, he has been clean from smoking and drinking for 3 yrs now. All he did was like you stopped buying tobacco, but he also started to occupy his time more, like he was always busy doing something. He had to find hobby to keep his mind off smoking and he did — he makes metal action figures now …

Lessen the number of stick u consumed for one day by eating chocolates alternately when you feel smoking. I you have one pack consumed for one day , provide 3 bar of chocolates. Chocolates adds adrenalin to your body just think of it.
