I don’t know your working or school situation, but the way I did it was I took 3 days off of work and sat at home by myself and just didn’t smoke. I stayed alone because I was really grumpy and didn’t want to be annoyed by people. After about 3 days you’ll be over the physical and most of the mental addiction to nicotine, but you may still be tempted when you see people smoking, especially if they smoke your brand.
I’ve not smoked cigarettes in almost 5 years and I still get a craving when I see someone with a normal Camel filter. MMmmmmm.

Here’s a plan I devised for myself that worked. Of course you have to have the desire to quit. It seems like you do and that’s the hardest first step. I took myself off gradually by not lighting one up until 9 a.m. smoking the last one at 9 p.m. I did that for several days without a problem at all. On the fourth day I’d move the hours up and down. Noting before 10 a.m. or after 8 p.m. I just kept modifying the hours in that format until I came to a time that was roughly 3 hours apart. By then my desire was so far down I saw no need to take it down to the last few hours so I quit. That whole process took about a month and combined with a little more exercises, some days going to the gym twice in 12 hours, I was able to walk away from it.
I smoked over 20 years, but never more then a pack a day so for me this plan seemed easy. Don’t know why I didn’t think of this and try in a lot sooner. Good luck. Hope the tips helped.
