How long is opened powder chicken stock good for?
I am making a meal and i want to use my chicken stock. It has been opened for about 6 months now and i am now unsure if it is still good. When i opened the can it is in, i had to use a spoon to stir it up a bit due to being just slightly harder than normal. But after stirring it, it seems back to the powder.. I can’t find an expiry date on the can anywhere so that is out of the question. So in general knowledge of knowing, anyone know how long opened powder chicken stock is good for? Thanks!

It should be fine. The high salt content prevents any bacteria from growing in it. I have used it that is years old with no problems.

Literally forever. I’ve had mine for a few years and it is fine. It is not something I use regularly. Same goes for beef stock powder.
