What are some easy recipes a first time cooker can make?
Me and my boyfriend are starting to get more serious and whenever he comes to my house we make dinner together. It’s hard to come up with ideas though considering everything online and in the cookbooks are really fancy and neither of us like those things. Any easy recipes would be great.Other then spaghetti or mexican, we’ve made both.

You can always knock his socks off with some Baked Chicken. You have several options here.
If you want to bake boneless, skinless chicken breasts, marinate them in your favorite Italian dressing. My personal favorite is Kens Steak House Lite Caesar. Marinate for anywhere between a couple of hours and over night. The longer it marinates, the more flavor it will pick up from the dressing. Bake at 350 for30 minutes to an hour depending on what chicken part you use. (Tenders take about 30 minutes and breasts closer to an hour).
Another choice might be to use either a whole chicken or just pieces. These, I would drizzle with some good oil (Olive, vegetable or what ever you have) and sprinkle with what ever herbs you like. Again, bake at 350 for about an hour.
You add a nice salad, potato, noodle, or rice to this.
Enjoy and don’t be afraid to experiment and if you create something that you really like, write it down so you don’t forget what you did.
If you want any other ideas, feel free to send me an e-mail.

Definetely “omellete”. You can play around with the ingredients to put in, also you can experiment with many kind of sauces. You can serve it with rice, fries, toast, etc. It’s simple recipe with a lot of variations.

Pan Seared Salmon
Clean the salmon, salt and pepper both sides. Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Add salmon. Cook undisturbed until one side is brown, flip, and repeat with remaining side. Serve with rice and salad. If desired salmon may be dressed with your favorite seafood sauce.

Chicken!
Get some boneless skinless chicken breasts, put them between saran wrap, and pound them with a meat hammer thing. If you don’t have one you can use a frying pan. Rub some salt and papper in, then grill them in a grill pan, flip, and voila! Perfect tender chicken. Sautee some zucchini slices with salt, pepper, and some bread crumbs. Bake some cookies together or make a cake and have fun decorating it and skirting each other with icing, lol. Hope that helped!

If neither of you are vegetarian, you can get some round chicken nuggets, and soak them in a teriyaki and crushed red pepper sauce after you cook them, it is a beautiful side-dish, and/or a delicious entrée.
