It depends on how good you’re ear is, it would probably be easier if you’ve studied music theory.
Then again, that’s how some people learn, by ear.

its a little harder.
but since ur playing with no notes..you will learn to play it faster than you would with the notes.
cause the notes are confusing.

You can learn to play by ear, but it takes lots of practice and hard work. Some people have it naturally. I have it naturally so it’s easy for me, but one of my co-workers wants to learn how badly and can’t seem to be able to do it no matter how hard she tries. The hard thing about playing by ear for guitar is that it may be in a different tuning like Drop D or Drop C and then it can get really confusing. If you’re asking this because you want to learn how to play a song I would recommend bringing it to a guitar teacher or going online and finding tab. (There’s so many tab sites out there that it’s pretty easy to find how to play a song.) Also you can Google the song name and then type ‘chords’ after it and you’ll probably get a lot of results. Hope I helped! 🙂

I do agree with all the ideas you’ve presented in your post. They are very convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are very short for newbies. Could you please extend them a little from next time? Thanks for the post.
