I am due in 10 days and he is trying to stop smoking as of last night. We are both getting moody with each other at times already.I don’t know if this is going to work lol.Any advice??I support his quitting 100%,I hate that he has smoked and am very happy he is trying to stop.

He should get help because it is not easy.

Awe, it is hard dealing with someone who is quitting. My husband seriously hated me when I stopped 4 years ago, lol…I was terrible…but it goes away. It took me a good 2 weeks for me to chill out because all I wanted to do was smoke when I was irritated and I felt like I wasn’t doing it for myself, I was doing it for someone else, so I lashed out. Just give him some time. The physical dependancy ends in 72 hours, the rest is just mental. He’ll adjust and you guys will be fine, that is VERY big of him to stop before the baby comes. Congrats and good luck!

BOTH of you just try and keep in mind that this is one of the BEST things you can do for your child. (may have to repeat this 100 times a day) but it’ll get there.
