I am looking to learn to play guitar… I need suggestions for guitar/amp?
I want to learn to play guitar again, and then learn to play some heavier/metal stuff eventually..
What would be a good guitar for under $200 to start with?
Would a 30W amp be pretty good? Loud Enough?
To play metal stuff, should I get a better pedal or waht?

If you’re just starting out, I’d suggest something like a Fender Squire Strat. They’re not that great, but really good for beginners because they’re cheap. A 30W amp is loud enough as long as you’re not gonna be in a band any time soon. But it would be fine for learning. And again, for learning, I’m sure your amp has fine Gain on it for you to play metal stuff.
